銑刨機刀頭路面冷銑刨機是一種用于去除路面材料的養護機械，高速旋轉且布滿刀具的銑刨鼓采用逆銑的方式切除瀝青、水泥等混凝土路面。由于路面材料成分復雜、硬度高，刀具的劇烈磨損使其成為消耗最迅速的易損件，大大增加了施工費用。因此，加強對刀具的研究以及合理的使用具有重要的經濟意義。

  主要有刀頭、刀座和基座組成。連接方式為：基座直接焊接在銑刨鼓上，刀座通過螺釘緊固在基座的槽里，而刀頭則通過漲簧插入刀座。刀頭由刀尖、刀柄、墊片和漲簧組成

由于要完成主要的切削任務，刀尖材料采用大顆粒的碳化鎢合金，并由軟性的鈷金屬將其連結在一起，硬度達到１４００ＨＶ以上，使其在高溫、高沖擊的情況下也擁有較好的抗折和耐磨性能。刀尖呈錐形，頂部直徑小，確保切入地面時的錐入性能，減少切削阻力；刀尖底部直徑大，提供對刀柄的保護。刀尖通過特別的銅釬焊連接在刀柄上，連接強度高，能承受施加在刀尖上，與刀柄成４５度方向的６噸力所產生的彎矩。

    墊片是由優質彈簧鋼制成，形狀類似碟簧，呈倒錐狀。其用處有兩個：首先減小刀座的磨損。工作時旋轉的刀頭如果直接安裝在刀座上，勢必給刀座帶來嚴重磨損，而刀座的價格遠高于刀頭，所以要在這之間安裝一個墊片，讓刀頭旋轉時只與墊片發生摩擦，保護了刀座；其次，錐形的墊片與刀座的錐形定位面精確配合，保證工作時刀頭在刀座中處于良好的對中狀態，減少刀座孔的磨損。
